Im back!!!!!! after a day of hibernation...
it's spooky time!!! hehehe
i've watched the pilot episode of Erik Mana's MASTERMIND on Abs-Cbn 2 last sunday and i never thought that i'd get goosebumps and all while watching the show. If you're familiar with David Blaine, Erik Mana belongs to the same genre of street magicians. But when I watched the show, he performed magic with long sleeves at that, don't know if he was hiding a dinosaur under his sleeves whatsoever. I was still in this skeptic mode during the first part of the show. Telling myself, he's just fast and he know how to divert the attention of the people around him so that they wouldn't see his tricks.
I got impressed though coz it seems to me that he uses the power of his mind more than anything else. One classic example was when he asked someone to write a symbol on a piece of paper and to hide it in his pocket. He then asked the person to clearly vision out the symbol that he has drawn in that piece of paper on his mind and from there, Erik grabbed a pen and a piece of paper and tried to draw something on another paper. They then simultaneously showed each other the paper that they're holding and you guessed it right. They have drawn an identical tattoo symbol on their respective papers. Same thing happened with another girl. They stood, not facing each other and simultaneously drawn a symbol. It was identical. Again. And Erik's symbol was a mirror image of what the girl has.
Another highlight of the show was when he asked this girl to close her eyes and just extend her arms. He then ran his fingers on top of the girl's left arm without touching her. It's like his fingers were above 6 inches from the girl's arm. He ran his fingers twice then asked the girl if she felt something. She said yes. And she said someone stroked her arm twice. He then asked the girl to open her eyes and then asked the people surrounding them if he touched her arm and they said no. What the?
One thing I did, which he asked televiewers to do is to get 9 cards randomly from a deck of cards and then pick one, so I picked 3 of hearts. Followed his instructions and flashed the 3 cards left infront of the tv screen as he said. The last card that was left was MY card. My boyfriend was also watching the same show that sunday and also did the card thingie at home and he got the same card that he chose which is the 4 of hearts. How in the?
He's galing I can attest to that. Try watching his show next sunday night. It's pretty spooky especially the last thing that he did with 5 volunteers. He asked them to write their own symbols on a piece of paper, the symbols should be distinct from each other. After this, they watched this video clip starring SADAKO through this VHS tape while burning the envelope where they placed the piece of paper. During the last part of the tape after they finished burning the envelope, a paper appeared from the tv screen, Sadako the video star grabbed this piece of paper and then held it facing the viewers. She was holding the paper with the volunteers' distinct symbol. The one that they just burned.
Creepy.
I had goosebumps and i was watching the show with lights off and i was alone.
I do would want to watch the show again with lights off. Me alone.
DISCLAIMER: Don't believe everything that i say.
