Now deadlines are ruling my life ever since I decided to go back to school. I'm working and I'm studying at the same time. I'm lucky enough to have 4 hours of sleep. My room's a mess. My vision's getting worse. I don't have much appetite. I see numbers and variables when I sleep. Every week is a nightmare. I feel that I only have 4 days a week, 16 days a month and 192 days a year. I even find texting tiring to do now. Normally, I reply within an hour or two. But now, it takes around close to 36 hours before you receive a reply from me.
Stressful as it may sound. This is the time when even the slightest, tiniest, micro-sized stuff makes me jump for joy. I didn't notice its benefit before but I'm glad that my parents enrolled me in a chinese school during my elementary days and got to learn a bit of "chinese mathematics" as a kid. Because if not, it would be doubly hard for me to get past my assignments now. It's really helping me a lot. Food? Yes! it makes me happy now. When I'm cramming and I don't have the appetite or I just simply forgot to buy food, even FITA biscuits tastes like heaven to me. And the good news for the day, when I only have less than 6 hours to finish answering questions which makes my neurons commit harakiri, came from my Prof in Discrete Mathematics:

2 more days! It's like two years for me. Whew.
But then I realized, deadlines are not that bad. Why?
Because there has to be something that will make you start and do what you have to do. And..there has to be something that will make you stop and give up what you can no longer do.
