Prayori op Sayon

watttaaaaadeiiiiiiii!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i'm truly. exhausted. to the nth. up to the maximum. level. and. im. still. panting. i. had. to. place. periods. so that i can. complete this. sentence. because im running. out. of. breath. hehehehe

why.

i belong to the cult called PRAYORI OP SAYON. i've been hearing a lot of talk about the book Da Vinci Code. Since last year.

What the f****** hell is this code?

I thought that this was one of the books that my neurons couldn't take which will eventually be a cause for mass destruction of neurons which will take place in my spaghetti-colored brain. I remember back in 2004 when i was still in the city of pines, my cousin went there for a visit and went to the ever reliable in historical National Book Store in SM Baguio and he was so ecstatic when he bought this Black Book with big white fonts shouting the words DA VINCI CODE. That was my close encounter of the first kind with this book.

Months passed, people were raving about this book. Just like they did with the Harry Potter series. That the said book will definitely change your Catholic beliefs. But still, i have no time to read books like that. Not because i'm afraid that it MIGHT change what I believe in but because i just want to veer away from anything that talks about religion because such topic is as vast as the universe and my neurons are programmed to reject such kind of information. HAHAHAHAHA.

And so. Coming across this book for zillion times in different bookstores (NBS, PowerBooks, Fully Booked, Booksale (i saw one for 100 pesos with some pages missing! what kind of bookworm will buy such a book.) etc was not a hard thing to do.

But I had to buy the book as my xmas gift for my kuya. AND so i bought it. But before wrapping it up, I opened that very tight plastic hugging this brand new book.

I read the first page.

Got intrigued to proceed to the next page.

I decided to finish the first chapter.

Thought that I would do myself a favor if i'll read it up to the second chapter.

But since my favorite number is 3, i read it til the third chapter.

Then I closed the book.

The following day when i came home from work, i had nothing to do and mona lisa was winking at me as if shouting the words READ ME! READ ME!

I told myself. It wouldn't harm. I read the next 3 chapters.

This went on for 2 more days and I finished the book.

HEHE.

The movie was an expected surprise. I watched it with my friend Jinggayerz. I wore my pink jacket since i thought it wouldn't be that humid to go outside and submit myself to be a possible stampede victim while breezing through other passengers to get inside this can called MRT.

We bought food. Watched the movie in Glorietta. The passes that I won last Valentine is only good for Ayala Cinemas that's why we HAD to watch it there. Movie was fast-paced. It's like the first 30 minutes was almost half of the book itself. But it was good. The movie tackled and followed the book's plot quite directly. Removing other ingredients but still managed to suit the taste of the judges (Food tasting ba ito? hahahaha) The movie started at 11:30 am and finished at 2pm. We had to rush coz we still have work at 3pm. Jinggayerz bought food and wanted me to have a taste of Sampler 1 in Chef D'Angelo for free. WHY NOT? CHOCNUT? hahahaha Then we headed back to this can called MRT.

All the while, I was wearing my pink jacket and i was sweating. Profusely! I was in Malaria mode that time, hahahaha. Went back to work, 3 minutes to 3 pm. I was so damn exhausted and my first chat session for the day with an MSN customer, was such a pleasant experience nyeheheehheeh.... He found my name unusual and said that it was a very nice name nyehehehehe... He mentioned that he knew few tagalog words such as MANGAGA UMAGA and TANGALOG. wakakakakak.

Now, I'm about to eat my Sampler. my Free Sampler.

So when I tell you, i hate a certain book. Don't believe me.

DISCLAIMER: Don't believe everything that I say.
